so soon many of you will be receiving our snazzy little post cards in the mail, so i figured it was time to put up our first post! we created this blog to help facilitate keeping up with all of you that we love so dearly, since we're so far away, and lets face it, keeping in touch can be tricky! so our desire is to be faithful about updating so that you all can be a part of our lives even from afar. and please know--just because we're blogging about our lives doesn't mean we don't want to actually call you to keep you up-to-date or wouldn't love an email, it's just a really convenient form that will hopefully all us to maintain ties with those we love!
so as a brief update, i (rachel) am officially in the middle of taking finals for my first quarter at the university of washington and will soon (in less that four days!!!) be getting on a plane to go to chile. saying i'm ecstatic doesn't even begin to describe the emotion. seba and i haven't seen each other in eleven months--that's just far too long. so we're more than ready to be together and start this new phase in our lives together. it's also really exciting that soon i will be seeing my family (mom, hope, dad, dawn, auntie shelly) that i haven't gotten to see since september. man i miss you all! and as for all you dear friend--man you all are missed! i've been blessed to be making some friends here in seattle, but i'm still dearly missing home and my sweet community there.
well, that's about all i have time for today. but check back, we'll be updating often! also, i've posted wedding info on the right side in case you wanted to know and we'll be posting pictures on here as soon as we have them!
